The principles revealed in this book are inspired truths intended to teach you, from a biblical perspective, how to kill (crucify, mortify) the flesh. As we have learned, the flesh is represented as the carnal mind; it is Adamic nature, or the old man in his unregenerate state. The carnal and worldly way of thinking separates the person from the spiritual things which consist of God. If one truly wants to succeed and reap the benefits of eternal life, one must realize that this can only be achieved by the grace of God, through recognizing and repenting of their sins. Through a repentant heart, the promise of eternal life is given to everyone who conforms to the will of God and obeys the commandments of His written Word. Participate in the benefits that God has prepared for the righteous; the carnal and carnal ways which constitute the unregenerate nature of man must cease.
