Jan van Eyck is one of the most important early Dutch painters of his time. He had many famous works, but one of his most interesting and questionable works is The Portrait of Arnolfini. There is much to be desired in this painting by the great van Eyck. Van Eyck was a master painter for most of his career, but in this painting he is able to show how his excellent painting skills can bring this painting to life. The Portrait of Arnolfini, which measures 82 × 59.5 cm (32.3 × 23.4 in) is an oil painting on oak panel dated 1434. This painting is also known by others as name of The Marriage of Arnolfini, The Marriage of Arnolfini, The Double Portriat of Arnolfini or Giovanni Arnolfini. and his wife. It is one of the only surviving 15th century paintings. This painting is considered one of the most unusual paintings due to its perspective. We can travel to both ends of space thanks to the mirror he chose to include in the painting. This technique was very interesting at the time because it further stimulated the viewer's feeling of space.
