How does computer processing compare to human thinking? Have you ever wondered how computers process information, as opposed to how the human brain does it? Do they actually “think” like a human or are they just organizing data? Can computers learn or even teach themselves? As a human race, we have thousands and thousands of questions we wish we could ask computers! 21st century computers are becoming more and more advanced and we wonder if they will ever take over humanity? Will they ever be able to function like humans? What about the feelings you have? Right now we don't know, but maybe one day we will. The way computers process information and the way humans think are completely different, as we said, computers only process information and humans are able to think comprehensively and make decisions . To begin with, Watson was a supercomputer programmed to compete in the field of information. game "Jeopardy!" Watson, a room-sized supercomputer, took on Ken Jennings, famous for successfully winning 74 consecutive games on "Jeopardy!" » and Brad Rutter. Watson was one of the first forms of AI, which stands for artificial intelligence. In the end, Watson ended up winning the game of “Jeopardy!” ” which elicited both positive and negative responses. Additionally, Stanley Fish wrote a column in The New York Times in which he expressed his feelings about Watson. Fish believes that computers are nothing more than calculations. For example, he says: "He has a program [his computer] that asks him to finish words before me by 'consulting' a database of words I have used that begin with the letters which I have already typed. "Consulting" is in quotes because the computer doesn't do anything that requires intelligence, unlike the middle of a sheet of paper... instructions, it does it, regardless of the outcome. The result could be detrimental to his own “well-being” and he would continue to carry out his task. Computers have no concept of right or wrong, right or wrong; they simply follow the instructions given to them and are incapable of breaking the rules.
