    The Industrial Revolution began in the mid-1700s and ended in the early 1800s. It dramatically changed the way people lived. This is what allowed people to lead a life like the one we live today. It was a very slow change that started in Britain and then spread around the world. Although this benefited the world, it also had some disadvantages. It was the beginning of great inventions and major changes in people's lives which then made it easier for some and more complex for others. Science launched these great inventions and began to develop to such an extent that one day willpower will make people in the future stupid. The industrial revolution had both positive and negative effects. Some of the positive effects were the creation of many more jobs and, thanks to the great invention of the steam engine, travel was much faster and easier.
