  • Essay / The Metaphysical Analysis of Nietzsche's God is Dead

The Church told them that they had original sin and that by focusing on God, Heaven and each person's soul, the Church can repair the sin in oneself. This is Nietzsche's theory called Metaphysics. Metaphysical theory says that the Church should pay attention to its inner self instead of letting followers focus on the lives they are currently living. Focusing only on God, Heaven and Soul underestimates the importance of religion itself. With the reevaluation of values, Nietzsche focused on morality, specifically the morality of the master and the morality of the slave. The main moral is when we are concerned with strength and competition, and achieving our goals is an accomplishment. Slave morality deals with the concepts of good and evil, with Evil representing the morality of the master. The slave morality lives in the shadow of the master and will reject what the master stands for, this morality will also suffer from resentment, both moralities can be found in the same person. In a person, the Master's view of morality has gone beyond the concepts of good and evil and explored a deeper meaning within itself, but the Master's morality is not an end.
