Globalization is an issue that has attracted a lot of attention globally in the past. Indeed, the media play an important role in the dissemination of information and also debate issues related to globalization. For example, the media is full of stories about how political instability in Ukraine and other countries facing political instability affects other countries. Essentially, globalization has both negative and positive consequences. This is an article in support of the issue of globalization. To understand this issue in depth, it is important to define the word globalization. There are many definitions of globalization. According to Ervin and Smith, “globalization refers to real changes that are important to human society” (2). Changes affect people differently. Yu defines globalization as “a process of integration of human life, unfolding as a global and holistic trend that transcends regional and national boundaries” (65). This definition describes globalization as an intentional procedure or plan of action and a predisposition to current human progression and overcoming national boundaries. Although there are many problems or disadvantages associated with globalization, in my opinion, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Since globalization involves human development, many countries are exposed to the global market. No nation in the world has developed in terms of financial, monetary and social capabilities while being cut off from other countries. Subsequently, globalization leads to high levels of the Human Development Index (HDI). The HDI is considered a calculator of the financial well-being of a nation or people. Globalization has also led to an increase in the human development index, opened up opportunities for women and led to the creation and expansion of many global businesses that provide employment to a large number of people all over the world . With globalization, it has also become necessary to create international institutions such as the United Nations, which help promote and maintain peace and unity all over the world. Globalization has also led to centralization of resources, as people can easily access commodities, as well as mergers of large international organizations or institutions.
