Essay / I can, I want and I must: Summer application essay...
I can, I want and I must. These words were a key point in my learning. This helped me define my goals and achieve my career goals, in which I strongly believe in materials science. The modern world is full of ballistic variations in gadgets and devices, with miniaturization being the trump card. With the rise of technology, the demand for nano-devices has increased and materials science and engineering have the lion's share in their realization. This inspires me to think beyond boundaries with rationality and adding creativity and innovation. It is essential to think outside the box to meet today's growing demands. To achieve this, I want to continue my summer internship in materials science and be part of the research that will be at the forefront of these changes. I have always had an analytical and logical approach to learning since childhood. During my schooling, I not only focused on science and mathematics but I also homogenized my efforts across all subjects, achieving good results in all subjects. The cumulative efforts of all this helped me crack AIEEE 2011, landing me in one of the premier institutes in the country, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. The courses in my professional specialization (Metallurgy and Materials Engineering) focused not only on Metallurgy of Metals but also on Materials Science and Technology. Topics like thermodynamics, phase transformation, foundry, materials physics provided a better understanding of the course. Until the end of my 4th semester, I had taken two fundamental open elective (OE) courses in tissue engineering and nanomaterial chemistry, to get closer to nanomat...... middle of article.. ....his research interest from various faculties of National Tsing Hua University and overlaps significantly with those of mine. The research work carried out at National Tsing Hua University on nanomaterials is very diverse and comprehensive. The university is among the best in Asia and offers excellent research opportunities in materials science and engineering. I find the field of nanomaterials research fascinating and eminently compatible with my interests. The excellent nanomaterials research facilities at National Tsing Hua University along with the competent guidance of the faculty would provide me with an invaluable opportunity to complete my summer research internship studies. I am confident that I have the drive, intellectual skills, and aptitude required to succeed in your internship program, and I look forward to joining and contributing to the ongoing research..
