    Martin Luther King Jr. was an enduring man, he once wrote from a city jail about remaining a member of the civil rights movement. Now we must ask, how did Martin Luther King Jr. contribute so much to the civil rights movement? Civil rights was a very powerful event in American history. They helped revolutionize the world and the times we live in today. Martin Luther King Jr. was an influential and effective activist who revolutionized our world today with the civil rights movement through his strong ambitions, actions and powerful speeches. Martin Luther King Jr. was a very influential man. He wrote great speeches and writings that brought about radical change for civil rights. He wrote letters that encouraged people to take action and make a change (Leone, 1996). After this, people began to mobilize their energy for change in the rights of black African Americans. He delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech which is still remembered today as the greatest speech of the 20th century (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.). The speech and the voice of power have the spark to act and make a change for the positive side of Civil Rights. In addition, the speech was broadcast on many television shows, which was a great surprise for the time (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.). This allowed the nation to see the words he spoke and take action to defend the rights of African Americans in the United States. Martin Luther King Jr. was very influential on civil rights using his great voice and writings in support of civil rights. Martin Luther King Jr. was a very ambitious person. He went on and helped lead African Americans to have complete freedom. He never stopped doing what he believed was the right thing to do.
