Trip Advisory is an example of an organization that basically provides an online environment for people where they can share their reviews and personal accounts about various parts of the world that they have visited. These personal experiences can then be read by other people, who can use them to make their own decisions about a particular destination, accommodation and restaurants. “Make my trip” is another organization that once again powerfully describes the relationship between the hotel and tourism industry. It is an Indian online travel company established by Mr. Deep Kalra in 2000. It is headquartered in Australia, USA and India and is known for merging with various international companies to become more global. The main objective of the online company is to facilitate the organization of all their trips. Facilities include booking flight, bus or train tickets and providing exceptional and affordable holiday packages. Additionally, they also launched a taxi service in 2010, which helps people book a taxi. Finally, another very well-known organization is the Taj Hotel Resorts and Palaces, a chain of hotels and resorts headquartered in Mumbai and incorporated by the founder of the Tata group, Jamsetji Tata, in 1903. It has no just 93 hotels spread across 55 different locations in India, but also 16 international hotels in popular countries for tourism like Australia, UK, Malaysia and Maldives to name a few. The company is recognized worldwide for its unique Indian hospitality and for providing its customers with refined, efficient and high-quality services while remaining true to its terroir.
