  • Essay / Health care in Finland, Spain and Kenya - 2037

Good health is a right for everyone. Everyone should be able to benefit from different health care services, social services and treatments. Everyone has the right to psychological, physical and social support. Throughout the world, the WHO (World Health Organization) is responsible for playing a leading role in global health, guiding the health research agenda, establishing norms and standards, articulate evidence-based policy options, provide technical support to countries, and monitor and evaluate health trends. Unfortunately, in poor countries, not everyone has access to health care. (WHO 2013) Many countries cannot support the health care of their entire population. It’s clear they need help. Many organizations work continuously in developing countries. And of course, they also work in critical areas. The help of these organizations is very important for these people who live in this type of neighborhood. This is important and appreciated. And in the future this will be necessary. In this task, I will present the healthcare system of three different countries. These counties are Finland, Spain and Kenya. I will present the public and private healthcare of these countries. These countries are very different and their healthcare systems differ from each other. I will share my thoughts on the similarities and differences between the countries at the end of the task.2. HEALTH CARE IN FINLANDFinland is located in the northeast of the Baltic Sea. The total population is 5,408,000 people. In 2007, life expectancy was 82.9 years for women and 75.8 years for men. (WHO 2013) Every Finnish citizen has the right to social and health services. It is control by laws. The Constitution states that everyone has the right to income and care, if they want to manage adequately. The social world...... middle of paper ......in time. But it was very interesting to explore the healthcare system of different countries. This was a challenge for me because this task involved writing in English. It takes time to read different sources and read about it. I used English and Finnish sources. This task made me think that our situation is comparable to that of other countries. In Finland we have a good healthcare system and we can organize and plan for it. In Finland, the nation is not dependent on other countries. We have the right to good health care and social protection. And we have good health care. In Finland we have strict healthcare regulations and guidelines. The tracking is precise. I think it is very important to maintain and support the different organizations. They do invaluable work where it is needed. Working in different organizations gives a basis for life and opportunities for the future.
