Beneficence is violated because the therapist must demonstrate concern for the client's well-being and safety in a timely manner, in accordance with law, regulation or policy . Non-maleficence says that the responsibility of the practitioner is to avoid causing harm, to inflict pain on others. Procedural justice is another principle that is violated because it is stipulated that staff must comply with institutional rules, local, state, and federal laws and AOTA documents applicable to the occupational therapy profession. Procedural justice is also concerned with making and implementing decisions through fair processes that ensure fair treatment. Veracity will be violated because practitioners must provide accurate and objective information. Record and report accurately, in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable regulations, all information related to professional activities. It is stated in this principle to be honest, fair, accurate, respectful and timely in collecting and reporting.
