Essay / Reflection on Public Restrooms - 1080
Upon arrival we passed a conference room with a sign on the door saying Boston Renegades. As we walked towards the elevator to get to our room, we saw in the doors to their conference room, and the team was gathered around a music player and numerous bottles of whiskey. After going up to the room to drop off my things and change into more comfortable clothes, I decided to go down to their team room and try to plan the party. I never intentionally associated myself with the football player type, but these women were awesome. Although I admit I wasn't entirely sober when I arrived at their post-game celebration, I had stepped out of my comfort zone to talk to people who, prior to my studies in women's writing , I would have despised and ostracized. These women really appreciated the fact that I joined their party and I learned more about life as a footballer. I know that after writing about women, I will continue to advocate for women and serve as an example to my friends and family that men can be
