  • Essay / Everything happens for a reason - 1557

“Everything happens for a reason. » That's the last thing my young philosophical mind said to me. I had now lost the ability to think philosophically indefinitely. This incident seems really questionable, but it is absolutely real. It was after my grandfather died – the first death in my family since I was born, and before my experiences of hearing words that weren't spoken and seeing things that weren't there. Before that, I was an obsessively compulsive and hyperactive person. incident – and now I was calm, emotionless and without fear of death, which was surely coming. It's a truly unusual entry into teenage life. This was soon followed by depression, loneliness and the inability to think clearly. Now I was unable to think clearly and would find myself facing many problems that would soon haunt me. My “wisdom” remained only in the form of a memory. “Everything happens for a reason” was the best I could remember, along with some important conclusions that my mind must have thought were important. I really wanted to regain my thinking skills, and then I embarked on a three-year journey to do just that. I have accumulated a “list” of characteristics that a wise person would possess. It helped me organize everything I wanted to be, which was certainly better than a confusing continuum that was my mind. I organized them as “steps” to detach myself from this world. Detachment would mean peace of mind, relief from this confusing abyss in which I lived. My decision to organize the required information was only a few weeks ago. I categorized the research sources I could use into three types: videos, web portals, and books. I then decided to only use one resource from each category. I used Youtube to see...... middle of paper...... prevent the person from being distracted by thoughts about sensory objects. A person is characterized by what he thinks. It is important to think pure thoughts to achieve pure character. Effective use of time is essential as it prevents a person from having excessive or insufficient time, thereby preventing blocking thoughts from taking over the mind. This was the first organized research paper I ever wrote. I learned how to accumulate and organize research data into useful information. This improved my skills in managing text resources. On top of all that, I was able to study something that really interested me. This experience showed me the way to research topics I want to learn more about. I think now I can truly say, “Everything happens for a reason.” » Works CitedThe Bhagavad GitaSadhguruShri Atmanand, The Jain Ideologies
