Essay / Graduation Speech: My Life - 1027
My life has not been made of rain and sunshine, I have struggled and managed to make my way to get to where I am at this moment. It wasn't the ideal situation I wanted to find myself in, but in the end it just proves that the bigger the struggle, the better the outcome. It all started at the end of 2014, where my struggle really began and I overcame everything. “Finally time for graduation,” I said to myself while I was in my math class, as I was in my own little world while the teacher was talking about final and handoff lines diplomas. But as uninterested as I was, I began to delve deeper into my thoughts, nervously, I began to worry about my math goals since I hadn't passed that part of the test last year. With just one test my entire high school career would be a failure, I have to pass all my classes with at least a D or better for that to be excused. I sighed in relief, trying to avoid getting too caught up in the thought of not graduating, thinking I had this all planned out to relieve some stress and anxiety. "Here", interrupted in my thoughts, I saw my classmate hand in the final, it took me a minute to respond when I finally said "thanks" with a smile, taking the paper and putting it laying on my cold desk. seeing the guidance counselor with a million thoughts on his mind wasn't exactly the feeling I was hoping for, the halls were empty, everyone was in class and it was quiet and peaceful. The door creaked as I opened the office door, signed in, and waited to be called by the guidance counselor; I started looking around me to try to calm my racing mind and relax my nerves. Seconds turn into minutes and minutes turn into a lot of anxiety, "My God, what's taking this lady so long, I know she doesn't care... in the middle of a paper ......d to go to New Jersey, I think it's better for the moment". I looked at her, her bright blue eyes and her worried look, she was worried and sad, I got angry and said "stop, we'll find something and I don't even want to go to Jersey. The next few months turned out to be the best ever, we found a perfect apartment called". Cimarron, and he had the highest grades out of everyone we looked at. More good news, my advisor even called and told me I was eligible to graduate. Plus, as a bonus, I passed! called for a job at UPS It all happened with patience and hard work, I was so close to giving up and calling it quits, but with everything now coming together and falling into place, it really pushed me to do other things in life now, like go to college. As a person, I have improved and exceeded expectations – that's all I ever wanted.
