    One result of this is the creation of new classes due to industrialization; there was a wealthy elite from noble backgrounds, a middle class who lived a very comfortable life in the countryside with a growing range of products, and then the working class. The mass influx of the working class into the cities led to very unsanitary conditions. There was heavy pollution from smoke from coal-burning factories, very crowded living conditions with animals inside buildings, and rapid spread of disease from dirty streets and buildings (Industrialization PPT) . Workers who had the skills for manual labor became obsolete because they were no longer needed, so their incomes declined significantly. During the day, workers were closely monitored and forced to work quickly, so many jobs were monotonous and farm worker families were separated. Middle-class women slowly left the workforce because, unless they were needed to work, society placed more emphasis on them taking care of their families at home. However, working-class women were still expected to work to compensate for their husbands' wages and were preferred because of their small hands. Some also became servants and would send money home or save it to achieve their goals. Life was not comfortable for the working class and many of them were depressed because of their
