Hopefully we are righteous in a fallen world, it is easy to assume this persona. However, this is fraught with difficulties because we have also fallen. The only difference between Christians and the world is that Christians have accepted God's grace and mercy. “Christians agree that sin is terrible and will destroy their Christian testimony. “He who covers his sins will not prosper” (Prov. 28:13). But notice the next part of this verse: “But whoever confesses them and forsakes them will have mercy.”
