    Self-knowledge is the ability to accept by recognizing one's own faults through forgiveness, enabling the ability to love oneself and others. By achieving self-knowledge, we grow considerably on a personal level. Personal growth is a necessary element in the process of growing up and becoming a wiser individual. From a personal perspective, I have found that I have personally grown intellectually, psychologically, socially, and professionally over the last 15 weeks of the Fall 2013 semester here at Marywood University. We come to university to acquire great intelligence. I didn't know how quickly I would start to acquire this. Of the four aspects, I find that this form of personal growth has been the most predominant for me. By focusing on knowledge, the university has exponentially helped me improve my teaching skills. Due to the immense amount of reading required for the number of courses I am taking, I have become a more efficient reader in terms of speed and overall comprehension. Whereas at the beginning of the semester something took me two hours to read and understand, currently it takes me 45 minutes to an hour. This also applies to my typing and essay writing skills. Although I've always struggled with writing, typing has been a constant struggle for me to keep up with my fast-moving brain. I can now type a 6 page document in a matter of hours from first inspection to printing. Since the start of the semester, I have also learned better study skills and habits that I have found useful for myself. Once I downloaded Study Blue, an app designed to help students study more effectively, I saw a 10% increase in my test scores and was also able to physically understand the middle of the paper. ...but here, taking the first step and not being afraid to brag is not such a bad character trait. While this was a big realization for me, not everything is going as we planned, it led to another realization. You always need a plan B, whether it's regarding your career, your summer job or even what you'll eat for lunch that day, a plan B can really save you a lot of time and stress, ultimately making you appear more professional to the public. generally acting like an accomplished adult. It's hard to believe that one eighth of my bachelor's degree is coming to an end. Fortunately, we can say that these last 15 weeks have not been marked by a loss of growth. In my objective opinion, I have grown intellectually, psychologically, socially and professionally, which has allowed me to become a better individual and a better student here at Marywood University..
