However, the disciples were mere instruments for manifesting the power of the Holy Spirit among men. It was the power of the Holy Spirit working through them. The disciples did all things in the name of Jesus and for the glory of Jesus. They did not speak of their words but of what they had received from God. Like the angels, the disciples refused to receive people's worship because it was the power of the Holy Spirit that performed all these actions. They were only channels for manifesting the power of the Holy One.
