Students should be encouraged to work part-time. Nowadays, in the era of globalization, students are encouraged to work part-time, which will allow them to gain more experience in their field. the future, teach them to become more independent and more mature in real life. Although students have enough money to pay their tuition fees and are able to provide for the necessities of life, we strongly agree that part-time work should be encouraged because working at part-time work can bring more benefits to students. According to King and Bannon (2002, p. 2), more than 50 percent of full-time students are employed and "nearly 46 percent of all full-time students work 25 hours or more." As students work more, they have less time to engage in campus life, both inside and outside of the classroom. Many students enjoy having a part-time job. Their parents readily approve of it because it is said that they gain experience by working. However, having a job is a big responsibility for a student. Before, teenagers their age worked to help their families because of poverty. However, they were truly eager to study and learn at school for their future. This is not the same as today's students, where they are more likely to compete with each other for employment. Most students work part-time and some intend to work. When we are in a fast food restaurant, a supermarket or a store, there must be students working. Additionally, students can gain many experiences and students should be encouraged to work part-time as they can learn new skills and learn how to manage their finances properly. They need to find a way to integrate both study and work. For example, they simply need to create a systematic schedule that emphasizes time spent working and tasks assigned by the teacher or lecturer. This method will help students easily follow the created schedule so that they can balance learning and working time. And certainly, they can set a day of the week for family and peers to get together so that they can still maintain good relationships. With a positive and motivated mindset, part-time work can be a great experience for students who succeed and are useful to the community, nation and country. Finally, they can leverage their experiences gained from part-time work and the skills they have acquired to use in their future careers..
