Bloodshed, tears and mayhem; will we endure all these trials for love? When people are in love, they commit rash acts that eventually lead to chaos. In Romeo and Juliet, written by the famous playwright William Shakespeare, one of the main characters, Romeo, falls in love with a beautiful girl named Juliet, who belongs to the Capulet family. Throughout the tragedy, lust proves to be a more important factor than true love. Lust causes Romeo's love for Rosaline to quickly pass to Juliet. Additionally, the deep anger that Romeo feels after witnessing the death of his good friend, Mercutio, leads to the idea of revenge and murder towards Tybalt, the murderer. Finally, upon learning of Juliet's death, Romeo quickly rushes to Verona to commit suicide. Romeo's rash actions throughout the play lead to constant chaos, which ultimately ends in the deaths of both star-crossed lovers. Rosaline, whom Romeo previously loved, is replaced by another girl as soon as his eyes fall on her. At the sight of Juliette, Rosaline is forgotten and Romeo instantly falls under the spell. ...
