    Benjamin Franklin was a man of many facets, due to his unexpected accomplishments, his breakthroughs in many areas of his life, and his faith that many adapted. Born into a large family of ten children, Franklin was not expected to be the leading man that he was. His father was a soap maker, and his family thought Franklin would be part of the clergy. (Ben Franklin The Electric Franklin 1) Franklin's expectations make his successes much more impactful because of his ability to be a leader from a young age and represent America as a powerful nation. Thanks to the printing press, Franklin was able to support himself for the rest of his life, which led him to approach his curiosities through discovery and invention. (Benjamin Franklin1) Benjamin Franklin influenced America through his achievements as a brutal editor and writer, innovative scientist and inventor, and superior political figurehead. From a young age, Benjamin Franklin was academically more advanced than others, which allowed him to be. succeeded thanks to printing from the beginning. Franklin never remembers not knowing how to read, which allowed him to cut back on his studies and be able to start working when he was only twelve years old. (Autobiography 1 of Benjamin Franklin) Growing up in a family with little money, not enough for school, Franklin was sent as an apprentice for his brother's printing company. Franklin was a very sacrificial man, always wanting to help others. His list of inventions is long, all benefiting early Americans and people around the world today. He saw a societal problem, major or minor, and found a solution. His most remarkable discovery was that of electricity, and the invention of lightning resulted. Always looking for ways to help people, Franklin also contributed to America's future, making the nation independent. He signed some very important treaties and documents, all extremely beneficial to America. Franklin's leadership affected the entire country. Benjamin Franklin will always be remembered as an influential man throughout America. His dynamism and ambition through his editorial, inventive and political attributions affected this country, making it strong and independent...
