Kevin Durant was in LeBron James' face, guarding him as best he could. There are ten seconds left now as LeBron starts driving. Kevin just stays on him and forces an off-balance shot and snatches the rebound. Five seconds left as Durant drives the ball down the court with LeBron on his tail. Three seconds left now as Durant starts to pull up for a mid-range jumper. There is one second left and Kevin Durant is at the top of his jump. He releases the ball smoothly but, out of nowhere, LeBron blocks the shot from behind as the buzzer sounds. They were heading into overtime. There are many things you can compare and contrast about LeBron James and Kevin Durant, who are arguably the two best players in the NBA. LeBron and Kevin are similar in many ways. One of the biggest comparisons is that they play small forward. A small forward or three, as some call it, is like a middle player in terms of size. The small forward is normally much taller than the point guard and shooting guard, but is generally smaller than a power forward or center. Both LeBron and Kevin led the league in scoring at one point in their careers. Kevin and LeBron were averaging between twenty-eight and thirty points per game when they won these awards. They also have some of the best rebounders and defenders in the league. To be a good rebounder and defender, the basketball player must be tall, fast or strong. So it would make sense that they are good at rebounding and defense because they are big, fast and strong. They were both selected in the first round of the NBA draft. It's really hard for a basketball player to be drafted in the first round, but it shows how good he really is. Both teams obviously liked that the two stars were... middle of paper ... they actually passed it and stole it in mid-air. He was all alone, everyone behind him, clear path to the basket. He took it out of his hands and put it in the hoop. Draw ten seconds from the end. LeBron James slowly dribbled down the court as the clock ticked. He hesitated then quickly passed Kevin Durant. Past half court now with three seconds left. LeBron knew he only had time to say a deep prayer from the sidelines. As he stopped, Kevin charged from behind dropping the deepbomb. Kevin hit the ball from behind and the buzzer sounded. They were heading into another overtime. This match was no longer a five-on-five match. It was one-on-one. LeBron James vs. Kevin Durant.
