A Star is Born: Marilyn MonroeI was inspired to write about Marilyn Monroe because she seemed to know a lot about life and everything about it lived. She was a big movie star and she fought for what she believed in, she wanted a good role in movies, but the directors always cast her as a blonde and she had to be stupid and she didn't like that. She didn't understand because she was intelligent and that's what people thought of beautiful blondes at the time. She was good at everything she did. People wanted to take advantage of her. But he was a good person who was always taken for granted. She was born on June 1, 1926 in Lag Angles and died on August 5, 1962. She was known as a sex symbol and she had a difficult life growing up. She never knew her father and her mother tried to kill her while she was in her crib and by suffocating her with a pillow. She spent most of her life in a foster family. In 1937, a family friend and her husband took care of her for many years as they took her away. At age 7, Marilyn Monroe returned to the orphanage at age 7. She was sexually assaulted and raped when she was 11 years old. She ended up marrying her boyfriend after leaving her freedom and growing up. She grew up being a model and dreamed of becoming an actress. Her career was getting harder and harder because she got married and that affected her acting career a bit. They divorced in 1946. Marilyn Monroe ended up signing her first film. She started calling herself Marilyn Monroe and she actually became a blonde, but her acting career didn't begin until 1950. She impressed her audience by starring in a film called The Asphalt Jungle. And she even impressed the critics and they loved her performance.
