    In other words, the more you know, the more power you will have over conditions. Additionally, the more power you have, the more knowledge you will gain. However, in politics it is a linear relationship that has a beginning, power and an end, knowledge. If the line starts with knowledge, the consequences could be detrimental. For example, those who oppose politicians and those in power often end up being ignored or labeled even if they have enough knowledge to tell the difference. Women's rights activists are often wrongly seen as man-haters, when in reality they are promoting equality. As are those who try to reduce the social gap between rich and poor, but since the rich have the power, the poor have no contribution to the changes. They're just a mirage for the rich, but they can never be.
