Essay / Swot Analysis of Dunkin Donuts - 1065
Dunkin' Donuts has many strengths that keep its customers coming back for more. One of these factors is the price of their products. Customers ultimately pay a very low price for their coffee and breakfast sandwich. Convenience is another important factor that helps Dunkin' Donuts attract loyal customers. The drive-through is a major positive for their business because when people are on the go, they can't be bothered to get out of their cars to enter. Ultimately, Dunkin Donuts is consistent with its brand image. If Dunkin' Donuts were to reposition itself, its overall sales would decline because that's not what its customers want. A company's weaknesses can be detrimental to it. Unfortunately, the employees at Dunkin' Donuts are not very friendly, which makes for a less than pleasant customer experience. Becoming more personal with customers creates customer relationships that can be very beneficial to Dunkin' Donuts' sales. Few people tend to end up at a Dunkin' Donuts like they would a Starbucks, because it's not the cleanest place to sit and relax. Cleanliness is a big attraction in the eyes of the customer, so if its atmosphere is perceived as dirty and unsanitary, it begins to lose its market. Overall, Dunkin' Donuts still maintains its brand image and continues to satisfy millions of customers.
