Adam Elliot is an Australian stop-motion animator. He has received more than a hundred awards during his career. In 2003, Adam Elliot won the Academy Award for Animated Short Film for his film "Harvie Krumpet." Elliot calls his films "Clayography" because most of them are based on his friends and family. “Mary & Max” is an Australian animated claymation film written and directed by Adam Elliot. The film tells the story of the friendship between two correspondents, Mary, an eight-year-old girl, and Max, a forty-year-old man. Hayao Miyazaki is one of Japan's greatest animation directors.
