  • Essay / The effects of video games - 599

Today, video games are part of many people's lives. Some were born with video games in their lives and others started playing video games as they got older. Addiction is pervasive in today's world, there is addiction to marijuana, alcohol, methamphetamine and other types of drugs. But who would have thought that video games would also become addictive? In one article it is said that "children and adolescents who played more video games and had lower social skills and greater impulsivity were at higher risk of becoming...... middle of paper.. .... were born with video games. will game until they get tired of it and those who got into video games until they are older may get rid of their games because it wasn't a big part of their life. It all depends on the person playing video games, if they can distinguish reality from fantasy there will be no problem.
