    The poet I chose was famous for her growing optimism in her work and her uplifting words. His work is very motivating. Not only did she write poetry, but also much prose. She is known for writing things like hope over despair, victory over failure, good over evil, or kindness over selfishness. Which makes her an interesting and very unique and optimistic writer/poet and journalist. As any artist creates beauties with his brush, she also does it with her pen. She was an artist of the Rosicrucian movement in 20th century America. “The New Thought Poet” better known as Ella Wheeler born November 5, 1850. In the village of Johnstown, Rocky County, Wisconsin. Daughter of Marcus H. Wheeler and Sarah Pratt Wheeler; Ella was the youngest of two brothers and two sisters. In 1852, the Wheelers settled in Dane County, Wisconsin, in the town of Westport. It was there that Ella grew up and, at home, she built her reputation as a writer and poet. From a young age, she was an avid reader of popular literature, including the novels of EDEN Southworth, Mary Jane Holmes, and Ouida. “The New Poet” wrote her first prose and rhyme at the age of 8, and at the age of 14 she published her first poem for the New York Mercury newspaper. After that his poems were published in the 'Waverly Magazine and Leslies Weekly'. Her childhood was not easy as she and her family struggled economically and so she sold some of her poems. She went to school at a district school that now bears her name. She also attended the University of Wisconsin (UW-Madison). But she didn't keep it and gave up quite quickly because she saw it as "a waste of time". She preferred riding horses, visiting friends and had... middle of paper... but yours too on the pile. People really want you to be at your best, not your worst. If you are cheerful, others will want you, but once it gets worse, you will be left alone and only a few will stand by you along the way. No one will say no when you invite them to have fun and party, but when it comes to grieving, you will be left alone and no one will try to be with you. When we are going through a hard time, we have to go through the hard times alone because people are cowardly when it comes to being sad, they only want good times. Have fun and enjoy life and many more will join you, but if you are sad, all the time, you will be left alone. Only one self can control our lives and sooner or later our lives will not be perfect and never will be either. Everyone, regardless of their status, will suffer and go through something that causes them pain..
