Essay / Implementing Project Management Techniques - 1271
There are many methods and techniques that a project manager (PM) can use to successfully complete a project. Some of these include: identifying stakeholder roles and responsibilities, tracking measurable business outcomes, applying project controls, and monitoring the dynamics of an ongoing project. These project management techniques are used in order to improve the project model into a basic project plan. When a PM uses these techniques, they can help track and account for items more effectively. These lessons can help them report and manage a project throughout its life cycle. On the Basecamp website, one can apply these techniques and ensure that stakeholders are aware of each instance in order to manage a project successfully. Responsibly in a ProjectFirst thing, accountability is vital in controlling and managing a project. This component is essential in the life cycle of a project and will be repeated until the project is completed. Accountability is PM's way of ensuring that users do what they are supposed to do and that providers complete the assigned task(s). In an article by Pitagorsky (2009), he states: “Responsibility, according to the Business Dictionary, is “the obligation of an individual, company or institution to account for its activities, accept responsibility and disclose results transparently.” "Accountability is essential in project management. Without it, projects cannot be monitored and managed effectively, nor performance improved" (para. 4). On our Basecamp website, the PM keeps an eye on using meetings and software The website provides tasks that allow the PM to control and assign items to individuals in a project. Meetings allow the PM to report on items discussed in the middle of the previous article. .....cher, R.
