Even though I was nervous at first, the students warmed up to me and I felt comfortable. Going to class every day is something I look forward to, and this experience puts that a little more into perspective. I know that teaching is both challenging and rewarding, and I'm ready to take it on. I learned several tips in class from my cooperating professor. He knew the topics well and I was able to get ideas from them. These ideas and tips will be used in my classroom. When it comes to MoSEP standards, I consider my strengths; Standard #2 on Student Learning, Growth, and Development, Standard #5 on a Positive Classroom Environment, Standard #6 on Effective Communication, and Standard #8 on Professionalism. I considered them my strengths because they were what I focused on in class. I believe these standards are important for student learning, and this is something I did not have difficulty achieving. Although I have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge from this experience, I still have a lot to learn. I need improvement in lesson planning. Lesson planning is a big part of teaching and it's something you'll never stop doing. I also have to learn how to behave with parents. By doing Junior Achievement, I haven't had to interact with my parents, so that's something I'll have to come into contact with at some point. I would like to improve in teaching techniques. I would like to grow
