With a diverse population prevalent in the United States today, our country is a melting pot of diverse cultures, each distinct in its own respect. Culture distinguishes one social group from another, including beliefs, language, traditions, art, food, religion, and economic systems. Through ongoing and evolving processes of learning and sharing, culture shapes our patterns of behavior and thinking. The meaning of a culture is so philosophical that it touches almost every aspect of who and what we are. As Henslin once said: “Culture becomes the prism through which we perceive and evaluate what is happening around us. » It becomes who we are and how we see things differently from people of another nationality. A pluralistic society can influence the behavior and thinking styles of the people who live around it. Some of these people can learn from the diversity of cultures to find faults in their own lifestyle and try to improve them better.
