Essay / Global Development - 2853
Global DevelopmentINTRODUCTIONMy courses will cover global development and its various aspects of the three different worlds and their references to MEDC and LEDC, decision on why a country develops, slow development of countries explained and the explanation on why the world is an unfair place. The definition of global development is the advancement of resources to improve the standard of living of people living in poverty-stricken areas. Increase and facilitate access to the basic needs of poor people and provide basic living conditions to free them from poverty and cycles of debt. It also involves managing the raw materials of wealth within countries once a place is developed. There are different types of worlds divided according to its development. Nations are divided into three sections: 1st world countries, 2nd world countries and 3rd world countries. “First world countries” refers to developed, capitalist, industrial countries, roughly an area of countries alongside the United States with common political and economic interests: North America, Western Europe, Japan, and Australia. The "second world countries" are today called the (former) communist-socialist industrial states (formerly the Eastern Bloc, the territory and sphere of influence of the union of the Soviet Socialist Republic): the Russia, Eastern Europe (e.g. Poland) and some Turkish states (e.g. Kazakhstan) as well as China. These countries are quite developed but no more sophisticated in this aspect than first world countries. They are neither rich as 1st world countries, nor as poor as 3rd world countries. Third world countries have outweighed all other middle of paper countries with their wealth and are not making matters worse by weakening the development of LEDCs. There are many humanitarian organizations that help and support poverty-stricken areas, trying to break the cycle of debt. But for now, LEDC citizens are settling on the outskirts of cities for immediate positive prospects, no matter what, even living in slums just to receive good services like MEDC people. In my opinion, I believe that poor countries have rich resources to help provide for their people, but they can only do this if the government is not so corrupt and does not go into more debt to expand its basic education systems, etc. In the future, perhaps the MEDC will increase as much as urbanization expands outward, turning suburbs into cities when the population is too large, that it will increase steadily..
