Teachers regularly teach you the standardized things you need to know to get promoted to the next class. In my experience, throughout high school, once you have acquired the knowledge necessary to pass the exam, high school teachers believe you have reached your potential and no longer push you to achieve more. Unlike high school teachers, professors are willing to provide abundant support to any student who is sincerely trying to improve. Not only do college professors help students recognize their potential, but they also become the driving force that pushes them to exceed their personal expectations. Teachers continually clarify what matters and why it is important; therefore, instilling a sense of pride in their work, as well as in themselves. Leadership styles can greatly affect a person's performance and self-esteem. Although high school and college teachers share the same goal of seeing evidence that their work and teaching has made a difference, they go about their business in two different ways. College professors confidently push students to become the best they can be. The high expectations they set, along with an almost overwhelming sense of accomplishment, make you a better student and
