    1) What is CT Scan? Computed tomography/computed tomography, also known as computed tomography/computer axial tomography, is a type of machine that uses x-ray waves, a powerful radiating wave originating from the electromagnetic spectrum. It also uses computer machines to produce detailed images of the inside of a body to perform a complete and thorough body check with precise consistency. It gives a clear three-dimensional view of soft tissues like blood vessels, muscles and also our vital organs. The scanner has many purposes. Radiologists authorize and review the radiology images (tomograms) and protocols for the study, after which a radiology technologist will perform the study. CT scans are also used by veterinarians to check the insides of pets and animals. They have also been used for archaeological purposes, a good example being the study of our ancient Egyptian mummies. The primary purpose of CT scans is often used to detect internal injuries, in preparation for further tests and treatments. For example, CT scans can identify both normal and abnormal tissue, allowing radiologists to more clearly plan and carry out radiation treatment. Question 2Q2) In conclusion, I can infer that the author is trying to tell us that CT scanning may be a good thing, but it is also the cause of the rapid increase in the number of people with cancer. According to the article, "Early diagnosis through medical imaging can save lives, but unfortunately there is little evidence of better health outcomes associated with the current high rate of ultrasounds, cancer rates remain stubbornly bred and the main culprit might be our own medical practices, we silently irradiate ourselves to death. These are all the essential evidence... middle of paper ......ives and thinking outside the box, this skill greatly helped me understand the article from a much clearer point of view. Second, identifying and evaluating the argument allowed me to understand whether the article is argumentative or descriptive. Third, there is the evaluation of evidence such as independent reasons, common reasons, overall conclusion, etc. For example, from assignment question 2 when they asked to identify the conclusion and provide relevant information that supports it, I am now able to identify the conclusion largely easily. Last but not least, there is the conclusion. I am now able to draw better conclusions in a much clearer way. I am now able to connect my conclusion to the supporting evidence..
