Four other attributes are added to the transactional leadership theory and form the transformational theory. Basically, it is the process by which the leader and the follower raise their hands for each other to achieve greater benefit (Dems, 2015). This type of leadership style is very energetic, enthusiastic and passionate and is not limited to a hierarchical relationship.
