    With levels of homelessness rapidly increasing in the UK (Fitzpatrick et al., 2012), the need for a study analyzing the spatial needs of homeless people who suffer from drug addiction and are accommodated in night hostels/shelters was essential. The task of critical evaluation is first of all to summarize the research article A Qualitative Exploration of the Spatial Needs of Homeless Drug Users Living in Hostels and Night Shelters (2013), discuss the presented methodology. throughout it and consider in more detail whether it was appropriate for the topic. The subject of the aforementioned journal article is an exploration of a sub-category of homeless people, namely homeless drug users.
