Known for his brilliant intellectual abilities, keen memory, and passionate fascination with mathematics, physics, and geography. He died on January 20, 1907 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Between these years, he lived a life full of knowledge, adventure, fellow chemists, and tragedy. In his early childhood, Dmitry Mendeleev entered the Tobolsk gymnasium at the age of 7, then completed his studies there in 1849. Dmitri M. enrolls in the mathematics and natural sciences division of the Main Pedagogical Institute in St. Petersburg, Ivan Pavlovich's alma mater. There he worked with Aleksandr A. Voskresenkii, also known as the "grandfather of Russian chemistry". In St. Petersburg he wrote his first scientific article, “The Analysis of Allanite and Finnish Pyroxene”, this article aroused his curiosity for the construction of the periodic table. He graduated in 1855 and won a gold medal for being first in his class. After a few years, Mendeleev's thesis on the specific volumes and structure of siliceous combinations allowed him to teach theoretical and organic chemistry at the University of Saint Petersburg. Towards the end of the 1850s, Mendeleev studied abroad. He ventured to the University of Heidelberg... middle of article...... The creation of the periodic table solidified his reputation in the scientific community. In conclusion, who is Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev? Well, Dmitri I. Mendeleev is a Russian chemist born in Tobolsk, Russia. He has written articles that question chemical elements, volume, temperature, liquids, gases, solids, atomic weights and the periodic table. He had the opportunity to teach at the University of Saint Petersburg, the Faculty of Engineering, the Institute of Transport and the University of Heidelberg. He experienced tragedies such as the family deaths of his mother and father, and personal obstacles such as being married to two women. Worked with fellow chemists such as Aleksandr A. Voskresenkii, Robert Bunsen and Tsar Alexander.
