    Communities should make an effort to notice the signs of bullying as early as possible. This does not always mean that every situation can be taken to legal authorities, but it may be necessary in serious situations. Educating adults about this issue can also go a long way in preventing and stopping bullying at school. Schools can take several steps to achieve this. This includes trained teachers who can discuss how to recognize and prevent bullying. Schools should hold meetings to inform everyone about the effects of bullying and how to stop it. They can distribute or email brochures highlighting the dangers of bullying and post flyers reminding students and their teachers of what they learned and experienced at the meetings. This hard work can be used with additional tools to allow students and adults to secretly report harassment via text message, so the appropriate people are quickly notified of the harassment. This includes teasing, talking about hurting others, spreading rumors, intentionally leaving children outside, luring someone out by hitting them or yelling at them. Bullying doesn't just happen in person. Bullying can happen online or even through text messages. Additionally, this can happen in public, this includes posting rumors on sites like
