  • Essay / Criminal Offenders Can Be Rehabilitated - 1011

Rehabilitation of violent offenders is very rare but is possible for offenders who truly want to be rehabilitated. Contrary to public opinion, people convicted of crimes can be rehabilitated, but they must determine their own future and not rely on the prison system to do all the work for them. Rehabilitation is a process and a department that must take care of lead (Africa News Service 1 of 3 pages). Furthermore, people do not believe that the offenders will return to their criminal ways, whereas after parole the committee will observe all relevant aspects (Africa News Service 2 of 3). Additionally, research shows that prisoners are incarcerated in a penitentiary or correctional facility and undergo the rehabilitation process (Africa News Service 1 of 2). However, this means that if prisoners work, it is a way for them to show that they are trying to rehabilitate (National Review 2 of 3). Most importantly, self-determination is something that violent offenders need to help them. look beyond the bad and toward the good. Long-term studies of male offenders suggest that it is better for them to be in a stable home rather than always on the streets to improve their behavior, because when they grow up on the streets causing problems, they only learn bad behavior. This should help violent offenders who have been rehabilitated achieve self-determination, that way when they have children they don't make the mistake of letting them wander the streets like they did as children ( Harvard Mental Health Letter 1 of 3). Likewise, in Huntsville, there are prisoners dying from heat stroke, the guards are completely suffocating the inmates, and this should be... middle of paper ...... to help them decide things a person should decide for themselves.
