Comparative research design could support both quantitative and qualitative research. In the first case, the study would involve examining specific phenomena between two or more entities and associated variables to compare their results in various socio-cultural situations using similar research methods in two or more countries. The aim of such a study is to examine similarities and dissimilarities or to establish in-depth knowledge of social representativeness in different national contexts. Here, a cross-sectional design format would be used to collect data using a questionnaire or a structured questionnaire.
