It is even one of the biggest competitions between different countries around the world. Each aspect can be applied to a theory of sociology. Education can be easily linked to conflict theory because there will always be competition for power, wealth and prestige. Children, even at a young age, often find themselves competing for grades in school, such as "jocks" or "nerds."
