    My dream career is as a Medical Lab Technician. I think this is the direction God has called me to. Lab technicians do not attend medical school, but they must complete training and be certified. The primary duties of medical laboratory technicians are to perform laboratory tests. Since they perform all the laboratory tests, they help in diagnosing conditions or diseases in a patient. They test many types of samples in the laboratory, such as skin or bodily fluids like blood and urine. Lab technicians have the responsibility of not only performing the test, but also recording the results and getting the results where they need to be. Blood tests can indicate many different conditions, such as a hormonal imbalance or blood type. This is very important because if a person is given a blood type that is incompatible with their own blood, they could die. Skin and tissue samples can also lead to a diagnosis. They can run tests to see if a sample reacts to something or doesn't react to something. This is how the laboratory technician helps to diagnose.
