Never in my four years of high school have I seen such improvement in myself in this area. I felt that in my high school classes my vocabulary expanded a bit, but not as much as in just one class per semester. With my better use of language, I also have a better choice of words. Despite the fact that article writing is a major source of improvement, even just searching for word synonyms on Google showed me how many words exist and how much stronger they can make an article. I think my expanded vocabulary has had a huge impact on the way I write. These three skills stood out to me the most and will serve me well in future trials and life events that will occur. I am confident that taking this course in general will help me succeed in my future studies. I learned communication skills and know how to use them for later projects. My essays of all kinds, whether a narrative or a research paper, will be more substantial because of my improved organization and word choice.
