Perfection, a romance novel in the Neighbor from Hell series written by RL Mathewson, contains an element of angst and comedy. This romance novel is set in a contemporary setting where swear words and sexual themes are used extensively in the novel as it progresses. Additionally, based on this work, there have been good and bad reviews from the authors, from their point of view, because of either the main characters "Zoe" and "Trevor" or the supporting characters , mainly the “Bradford” family (Mathewson 1, 2).First of all, Perfection created good or bad reviews from readers. These people showed what they thought of the book through their reviews by commenting first: “Perfection is exactly what the cover calls for. Perfect (Elvisgrl84, So)”. Even if the same author still felt something about a character "he'll say Trevor rubbed me the wrong way at first because he was an atrocious asshole, I warmed up to him in the end (Elvisgrl84, So) ". The following comments show someone who didn't really enjoy the novel: “No, my real problem with the book was the unintentional larger message that permeated the story.
