I give back to others and the community by getting involved in many different groups. By being involved in FFA, we take time out and do community projects that people ask us to do for them. We have built concrete driveways and sidewalks for different people in the community and they always have good things to say about our work. Another thing I help being part of the FFA that has done for the community is we cleaned the basketball/tennis court at the local park when it was flooded and there was a lot of mud, stones and sticks all over the field. . Another thing we did at FFA was varnish the cabins at the local park. Last year we also helped build a new daycare for the community, we helped build the parking lot and install the fence around the daycare. Additionally, to help the community, our baseball team helped install flags in the cemetery for Memorial Day. I helped with the community Easter egg hunt by hiding eggs for younger children to find.
