Essay / The Benefits of Homeschooling - 659
Homeschooling is a controversial topic because many have very different ideas about what they want for their children. The idea of opting for home schooling originated in the 70s in some parts of Europe, but over time it has spread throughout the world, today more than half -million American boys and girls and about ten thousand. British people do not attend public or private school because their parents have come to the conclusion that at home they can get a good education. At least as good as what they could receive if they went to school (Sandra M. Alters). As a parent your responsibility is to provide the best education to your child because it is essential for his future and his whole life, consider that home schooling is an option to give your child a personalized education according to his abilities, this option can be taken since your son is about to reach his first level of education or can be the opposite when he is already in an advanced level. Additionally, children with attention issues have not benefited from homeschooling because education becomes personalized. Taking the option of homeschooling benefits families in different ways, and the reasons may also have to do with where they live. Crime is a reality in many Latin American countries. In this case, homeschooling can give parents the peace of mind of knowing their children are safe. Education in some places may be poor, this reason has increased homeschooling because your child's education is something that will help them achieve many of their goals in life. (Sunday Times). One of the misconceptions we have about homeschooling that many families think is that your child may have developmental and socialization issues. Studies have shown that homeschooled students are more mature and better socialized than those who were educated at school (Hanako Taniguchi). A report in "The Spectator" newspaper shows that Veronica Penny Hamilton won the championship (Spectator). "Veronica is one of the most socially healthy people I know. This is evident when we chat with Jill Biden, interview Dr. Jacques Bailly, or joke with Tom Bergeron. She has been "allowed" to branch out, not in s "sitting in a classroom but landing on Ellis Island, gazing at the World Trade Center site, or digging for dinosaurs in Alberta" (spectator. ) .
