  • Essay / Reflective Essay: My Journey as a Public Classroom

Based on one of the rare recordings of my speech, I noticed a lot of things I didn't know before. For example, I notice times when I don't remember my lines, so I refer to my notes. If I had to rate myself, I would give myself 8 out of 10 because my presentations all met the minimum requirements. Although I still need to work on my extemporaneous delivery skills and write the attention-grabbing part of the introduction. The outline helps keep my speech organized, but it takes time to write. I like adding visual aids to my presentations because it makes the slides fun to look at. The most important thing I take away from this course would be the skill of improvised delivery. I think it is important to use the 7 x 7 rules while using extemporaneous delivery skills to present the speech. I felt this skill is commonly used in the real world. This skill can be used for a variety of purposes, such as selling consumer products and other projects. I used this presentation skill for minor and major speeches for this class. Overall, I'm glad I took this course because I'm improving my public speaking skills and overcoming my fear of public.
