People who needed an easier way to measure things invented this measurement system a long time ago. As the metric system spread to all countries, Britain used the usual units of measurement to measure things. When the British began to colonize America, the customary system evolved with them. Eventually, when Britain decided to convert to the metric system, the newly democratic America established its system of measurement as customary, while almost all other countries measured in the metric system. America should move to the metric system because it would promote more jobs in America, increase relations with other countries, and it would be easier to understand and apply. Switching from the usual system to the metric system would significantly reduce the unemployment rate and promote more employment in the country. America. The most important jobs needed are those that will involve remaking and selling new and correct products to customers. Many products have common measurements, such as rulers, manuals and signage. Therefore, if this country switches to metric measurements, the demand for these products will increase and companies will hire more workers to meet the demand. Many people in America are homeless and unemployed, so switching to the metric system will help them find the jobs they need to make money because the many jobs that will be offered may be simple for many people with little educated, like hanging a traffic sign. . As unemployment decreases, many people will move from living on the streets to working in paid employment and supporting themselves.
