Unlike most topics on abortion, this article does not address the question of whether a woman has the legal right to terminate pregnancy through abortion, but whether or not it is ethically justifiable to ruin one's pregnancy. the relationship of a father with his unborn child (Rights of the Father, ND, par. 1). Different circumstances call for different actions, but when a father wants his child, the outcome should be obvious. Due to the infamous Roe v. Wade court case, women everywhere have the right to terminate a pregnancy, with or without the father's consent. consent. Legally, a father does not even need to be informed of an abortion. The author is not claiming that all abortions are bad or that all sperm donors would be good fathers, but men who are trying to care for their unborn child should have the opportunity to have their child. Suppose a young couple is in their second year of college. The couple accidentally becomes pregnant and the mother and father consider having an abortion. In this case, there is no reason to oppose abortion. Now imagine the same couple getting pregnant. But this time, the father does not want to abort, and the mother does. Even though he created half of the fetus carried by his girlfriend, his rights and the fetus's right to life are not respected by the law. When abortion is discussed, the arguments are generally in favor of defending the pregnant woman. Arguments range from the mother not being financially or emotionally stable to poor physical health to carry a pregnancy successfully. Some women simply don't want to have children.
