The book Mourning Glory: The Will of the French Revolution Marie-Hélène Huet gives an excellent overview of the different angles of the French Revolution. She explains what the intention and goals are, and how they would fuel the French Revolution. Huet argues that the ideology of the normal daily way of life was neglected and that revolution with violence was the key idea of revolutionary attitudes during the period of 1789 and later years. She explains the comparison of how daily life and the ideologies of scientific reason and the Enlightenment gave the French people the will and courage to establish a new regime.
